The change of use and conversion of a range of traditional stone, granite and Swithland slate outbuildings, formerly attached to the principal Listed farmhouse in this very rural and tranquil Leicestershire landscape. The skilful adaptation and renovation of the buildings utilised the existing structural openings and provided open plan contemporary internal accommodation within a traditional and unchanged envelope – and by utilising the large two storey glazed screen to the former threshing barn openings, provided light internally to two storey accommodation. A sensitive conversion scheme for these important Listed curtilage buildings set within a tranquil rural Leicestershire landscape.
