Fantastic former Victorian mansion, used as a nursing home until the last few years, now refurbished, renovated, extended and altered to produce a superb residential and mixed business use. The main house, including its barrel vaulted ceilings and 4 storey clock tower provided some splendid accommodation for one and two bedroom apartments with split levels, mezzanine floors and the penthouse within the roof space using the clock tower for staircase access. The formal landscaped and courtyard garden to the rear comprised renovated coach houses, cottages and some replacement newbuild dwellings designed in keeping with the courtyard range of buildings. A splendid site in a semi-rural location immediately adjoining the Ashby by-pass, with easy access to the town centre.
