A brief to create a new doctor’s surgery on a site having planning approval for residential development, on the edge of this popular Rutland village. The scheme created flexible light and airy accommodation for modern medical needs, but very traditional elevations designed in keeping with the local styles of the village and with local materials. The large vaulted internal roof space in the reception area, king post trusses and glazed screens, make an interesting space for patients and visitors to enjoy.
