This site, in Watford, Hertfordshire, was formerly a small industrial building set in a predominately residential area.
Consent was granted for its conversion into contemporary apartments, but the planners were keen to retain the character of the Victorian street scene.
While retaining the frontage, we designed four self-contained contemporary apartments at ground and first-floor level, utilising the roof space. Each apartment has its own parking space and private terrace and all apartments share a communal garden.
The ground floor apartments have individual access points whilst the upper floor apartments share a street-level entrance. All apartments have two bedrooms and offer contemporary living with modern lighting, fixtures and fittings.
