This project has featured in several national property magazines and won Best Domestic Extension or Conversion at the East Midlands 2014 LABC Building Excellence Awards. Originally a 1970s bungalow, it was purchased by Alison Thomas and Stephen Brooker shortly after Alison was diagnosed with secondary breast cancer. We drastically redesigned the property to create a stylish and contemporary home which maximises its fantastic location. The ground floor was remodelled into a spacious, open-plan living area, whilst the upper storey was transformed with a stunning loft conversion. This was Alison’s last adventure and sadly she died after four months of enjoying her dream home.
