Planning consent was sought to convert a former farmhouse set back on High Street, Packington, into an L-shaped single and two-storey family home.
A narrow vehicle access opens into the garden area and the original farmyard. Inside is a contemporary family home with high build quality, under floor heating system and features such as oak detailing, reclaimed roof tiles and locally sourced bricks, which all contribute to the sustainable approach taken to the project.
To maintain and enhance its setting within a Conservation Area, the house was designed to replicate the original barns with steep pitched roofs and openings of agricultural proportions.
